« Slightly underrated winner (I liked a lot): Titanium Grand Prix winner from Uniqlo called Uniqlock… A classic glimpse into the future… A piece of charming , whimsical , totally practical brand utility… The Uniqlock application is a widget on steroid…

But much much more than any widget I have ever seen or downloaded onto my computer… Uniqlo has successfully incorporated a 24×7x365 living breathing online experience built around music , dance and a clock add in blog parts , world map to see and experience the community, downloads and more and you have the perfectly formed widget ever!

Content acted out by dancers and artists featuring different lines of uniqlo clothing to reflect every possible occasion , time of day , season. Even integrated into their retail storesHere is a company building marketing into this beautiful application which keeps and keeps giving more and all it costed them was the production..Brand service/utility at its best

Slightly overrated winner (I still liked but not as much): HBO’s Vouyer campaign…

A great piece of work which won multiple gold lions… I liked the innovation in the campaign but felt that it lacked that final defining depth to the experience and a real big central idea… Great use of OOH medium/ promotion , essentially a one off projection onto the side of a building with creative which allowed its audience to view a cross section of the building and the multiple stories which were playing out.

Hand out applications allowed new images and interactions to be seen extending the live stories. The campaign existed as an experience , ooh , a promotion , online and as a series of shorts…Visually beautiful which inevitably appealed to a multinational awards environment ( and juries) it won large but again in my opinion failed to hit the highest big idea note. Well worth checking out« .
